The town is on the elbow bend of the Murray as it turns from running northwest to southwest towards Adelaide. There’s a ferry over the river but we’ll continue on the north side to Kapunda today. There is literally nothing between here and our destination so we’ve packed lots of water and food to keep us going for the next 84kms. The weather is now really warm, 28 degrees yesterday.
The picture is of the town’s very good bakery interior. It’s a busy little shop in an old stone ‘settler’s’ building on a street corner with a sign board outside declaring ‘Worms Sold Here’.
enjoying the little moments and observations … (you’re missing the Rio Olympics and the synchronized swimming but nothing can beat my synchronized swimming when you guys visited last year so you’re missing very little!)
