A hot morning trying to find a place to sit and do a watercolour. I headed off into the wilds surrounding the lakes adjacent to the hotel, to where we’ve now relocated, only to be eaten alive by tiny mosquitos.
Instead, I moved to a coffee shop with outside seating and a view of the shaded road.
The canopy could be much darker if I was to try this again. The trouble with watercolour is that once it is too dark it is nearly always impossible to lighten. Here, I was a little cautious.
