Hagi townscape


It has turned much cooler and now takes an age for colour washes to dry. I slightly lost patience sitting outside getting colder and colder but this is the view from behind the guest house where we’re staying, to the hills above this lovely town. Hagi is described as ‘the little Kyoto’ in our guide and has many old traditional houses, next to carp filled streams and the ubiquitous tree blossom.
