As we disassembled and bagged the bikes in Hiroshima’s railway station we met another cyclist with a classic beautiful pink ‘Derosa’ 1980’s bicycle. It had homemade tanned leather accessories which I, along with more pictures of his bike, have to include below.
Cow bell with leather strap (love this as a variation to a bicycle’s bell) and leather brake hoods.
Leather ‘mount’ frame protector above gear leavers and leather tool bag secured in bottle cage.
Leather saddle bag in the new ‘cantilevered’ style beloved by off-roaders.
His machine tops the charts.
