We’ve reached Burney Falls and shortly head into Lassen Volcanic National Park which is a ‘milestone’ as we’ve visited and stayed in the park once before. The days getting here have been smokey and hot with a heat wave but this morning the air is clean, cool and fresh with blue skies.

Beautiful blue sky! Cascade Locks is in the midst of a fire now, and Portland is covered with smoke and ash is falling from the sky.

I still can;t get over the fact that more than 10% were listening to headphones? That seems like such a high figure?!?!
